About the Role
The Wellbeing Support Officer provides early intervention and holistic support to international students facing academic, personal, or transitional challenges. The role promotes student safety, inclusion, and a smooth transition to university life.
Reporting to the Manager of Student Wellbeing, the position requires strong communication, cultural awareness, and collaboration skills. It also involves administrative tasks and compliance with the ESOS Act 2000, the National Code 2018, and Child Safe Standards.
The successful incumbent is expected to perform high volume administrative tasks on a day to day basis.
Skills & Experience
To be considered for this role you will need to have previous experience in providing wellbeing support to international students preferably in an Australian education setting. You will also need to have strong administrative skills, with the willingness and ability to be able to learn new systems, processes and relevant legislation that are applicable to international education providers. You will have excellent interpersonal skills that will allow you to effectively communication and liaise with staff, students, parents, Under 18 care provider and agent.
Contract Type: Full time, ongoing position.
Salary: Band Level 2 - FTE $80,183 plus 12% Superannuation and Leave Loading 17.5%
