Lecturer in Biblical Studies (New Testament)
Trinity College Theological School, founded in 1877, is an Anglican (Episcopal) Theological School that represents the diversity and inclusive character of Anglican tradition, committed to the proclamation of the gospel, the celebration of the sacraments, the life of the church, and the dynamic character of historic Christianity.
Trinity College Theological School is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Biblical Studies (New Testament) commencing February 2026. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, contribute to research in the field of New Testament studies, and support the School’s vision of being a leading theological college within the Anglican Church of Australia, as part of the University of Divinity.
To be successful in this role applicants will need to possess a doctoral degree by research in New Testament and a relevant publications record, together with demonstrated experience and achievement in engaged and inductive-based teaching and learning.
Salary Range: FTE $106,755-$120,100 (Lecturer to Senior Lecturer) plus 17.5% leave loading plus 12% superannuation.
Contract Term: Two-year appointment commencing 2 February 2026.
