About the role:

We are seeking Examination Invigilators to ensure a secure and fair testing environment by effectively monitoring students during exams. Invigilators play a crucial role in upholding exam policies, maintaining academic integrity, and assisting with tasks related to the examination process. This includes preparing venues, handling exam materials, and following instructions from shift supervisors. Successful candidates will contribute to a respectful academic atmosphere, with professionalism and attentiveness to varying circumstances.

Availability Requirements:
Invigilators must be available during the following examination periods:

  • January
  • May and June
  • September
  • November and December

Skills & Experience:

Candidates must be reliable, punctual, and able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of students and staff. Strong attention to detail is required to ensure exam integrity, along with the physical ability to stand and move for extended periods. Proficiency with smartphones, especially for using Microsoft Teams, is essential. Flexibility, teamwork, and adaptability to changing exam conditions are key. Prior experience in exam settings is desirable but not required.

Salary Range:  Casual Exam Invigilators are paid hourly in line with Educational Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award at the rate of $33.56 per hour (for a minimum of 3 hours per engagement).
