About the Role

Foundation Studies is a pre-university course within the Pathways School at Trinity College that qualifies overseas students for entry to the University of Melbourne and other universities.

This teaching position in the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) department in the Trinity College Foundation Studies program, will deliver the EAP curriculum in the form of tutorial classes and possibly lectures. Classes are delivered in face-to-face modes. Additionally, the position will be required to correct student assignments and exams, submit student results and attend and participate in staff meetings. Where possible, lecturers are also expected to be available to students for consultation.   

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this role, you must have a relevant tertiary level qualification and demonstrated work experience in teaching students English as a Second Language and/or English for Academic Purposes, preferably at VCE level, a Foundation Studies Program or University Level.

To succeed in this role, you must have demonstrated experience in face-to-face course delivery and should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with other team members.

Employment Type: This is a fixed term position, commencing 5 May 2025 until 12 September 2025. Fraction is 0.4 FTE and is always subject to student enrolments.

Salary: Level B2 – C1 FTE $84,933 – $99,020 (dependent on qualifications and experience) plus 11.5% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading
