About the role:

Trinity College Theological School is committed to shaping men and women who wish to pursue ordination in the Anglican Church, develop skills for lay ministry, or simply explore Christian faith for personal or vocational enrichment and development.

Through the University of Divinity, the School offers high-quality, accredited degrees and diplomas, and also serves the wider community by offering professional development workshops, seminars and lectures in our Continuing Education program.

We are seeking an experienced and welcoming Administrator to provide administrative and reception support to the Theological School at Trinity College. As the first-point-of-contact, your day to day responsibilities will include assisting the School’s Registrar with administrative duties relating to student admissions and enrolments, including liaising with Student Services at the University of Divinity; calendar management of the Dean; providing assistance to students; faculty meeting minutes; assist with preparation of teaching material; work with other College departments on coordinating and promoting events; and other ad hoc administrative duties.

Skills & Experience:

The successful applicant will need to possess demonstrated organisational skills in adhering and developing administrative processes. Have proven ability in dealing with people in a respectful and sensitive manner, understanding the importance of protocol and quality customer service. This may include respecting confidentiality with sensitive matters. Demonstrate high level interpersonal communication skills, ensuring confident interaction with members of the Church, general public, colleagues and students of all ages. Familiarity with liturgical traditions and values of the Anglican church of Australia or experience with theological education would also be highly regarded.

Contract term: The position is ongoing, part time (0.6 FTE), working, Monday to Wednesday. Some flexibility may be possible with the selected candidate. After-hours work is not expected.

Salary:  Band 1 FTE $59,019 - $62,279 (dependant on skills and experience)plus 10% Superannuation and 17.5% Leave Loading.
