About the Role
The Foundation Studies Accounting course prepares students for study at university level and introduces basic accounting tools for analyzing and interpreting financial statements and management documents, including balance sheets, income statements, assets and liabilities, costing and profit.
Reporting to the Subject Leader of Accounting, this position will be responsible for the delivery of course curriculum in the form of face-to-face lectures and tutorials. Additionally, there is administration of assessment and correction of the subject, report writing, mentoring, availability to students and other duties relating to the subject and the broader program.
Skills & Experience
To be considered for this role, you must have a tertiary level qualification in Accounting and demonstrated work experience teaching similar subject matter content at high school, preferably at VCE level, a Foundation Studies Program or University Level.
In addition, we are seeking a dynamic individual, who’s engaging and innovative in their approach and who can smoothly transition into an already established position.
Contract Type: This is a fixed-term contract, commencing on 10 June 2026 and ending on 7 February 2026. Work fractions are 0.5 FTE , and is always subject to student enrolments.
Salary Range: Level B2 – C1 FTE $84,922 – $99,020 (dependent on qualifications and experience) plus 11.5% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading.
