About the Role

The Trinity College Academic English Program (TCAEP) is a pathway program which helps to improve student’s English language to transition into TCFS.

Applications are sought for the position of Academic English Teacher.  Reporting to the Program Manager, this role of Academic English Teacher will require delivering face-to-face classroom lessons, along with consulting students on course progress and providing additional student support when needed. Academic English Teachers are required to assess and mark tests, homework and assignments, as well as be available for meetings related to their subject and the broader Pathways School program.

The successful candidate will hold any Degree/Diploma (3 year minimum) plus a recognised TESOL certificate; or any Degree/Diploma (3-year minimum) including TESOL method. Due to COVID-19, we are currently delivering classes online, therefore, the successful candidate will be required to work from home until it’s reasonably safe to resume face-to-face teaching on campus.

Salary Range: Level 1 to Level 3 FTE $61,170 to $66,830 p.a. plus 10% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading.

Contract Type:  Fixed-term position commencing 5 May 2021 until 21 July 2021.  Please note, this position is full time (1.0 teaching).
