About the Role
The Trinity College Pathways School including Trinity College Foundation Studies (TCFS), is a one-year course which prepares able overseas students for undergraduate entry to the University of Melbourne and other leading Australian universities.
The Academic Administration Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of high-quality academic outcomes and operational excellence across the Pathways School. This is a hands-on leadership position, responsible for managing a small team and overseeing a diverse range of academic administrative functions that are central to the student journey.
Key areas of responsibility include managing student enrolment variations, coordinating support for students at academic risk, overseeing results processing and reporting, and facilitating subject selection and matriculation advice. The role also leads pre-arrival preparations for incoming students and holds primary responsibility for generating and analysing key student performance data to inform strategic planning and continuous improvement.
Working in a highly regulated environment, the Academic Administration Manager ensures compliance with relevant frameworks, including the ESOS Act and Foundation Programs Standards. The position requires frequent collaboration with internal teams—such as Teaching and Learning, Timetabling, and Student Wellbeing—as well as regular engagement with external stakeholders including parents, sponsors, agents, and university partners.
Reporting to the Associate Dean, Student Journey, this role
is ideal for an experienced and service-oriented professional with strong
leadership, project management, and analytical skills. It offers an opportunity
to make a meaningful impact on student success and institutional outcomes,
while contributing to a collaborative and student-centred culture.
Contract Type: This is a full-time, permanent position
Salary: Band 4 FTE $99,654 plus 17.5% leave loading plus 12% superannuation
